In a time when the world we live in is becoming more and more materialistic and less and less ‘beautiful’, it seemed only fitting that Huxley’s The Brave New World was to be part of the reading list in our school books. In The Brave New World the world is similar to how our way of life has evolved through the years. By analyzing this story, one comes to the conclusion that this brave new world actually is a story reflecting our way of life and time. In our world, when people are very young, they can not wait to learn how to read, but ironically, teenagers for the most part can not stand reading or even don’t know how to read. In the Brave New World children are taught to never like books, thus the same outcome in both situations. In the story, children are taught eroticism at a very young age, in our world, through television; children are also taught how to be erotic at a strikingly in young age. We can look on for example Soma: from BNW it’s a drug that dulls the passions and understanding of people and creates a false sense of happiness, in our days Government is giving us something we can called soma, for example: they cutting taxes but after that they putting bigger one on something ells so we still pay the same money when we did before they making false sense of happiness. Huxley in his book put 5 different group of people alphas, betas, gammas, deltas and epsilons even now we can put people in some direction like that: businessman’s, doctors, architects, road workers, students but in BNW author didn’t include thing that the hierarchy can be changed, in our world people from kids changing to the people with big success in “BNW” if you was born stupid you will have to live with that to the end of your life. In Huxley’s Brave New World the people treat sex as a form of hedonistic pleasure and entertainment, rather than a way of showing love or for means of reproduction. If we can talk about prostitute: she having pleasure with her client’s but I actually don’t think that she’s put in to it any love the only think that make her happy are money.

We are living right now in the days of our Ford, has already begun a process of degeneration, where people are no longer understood as individual, but as machines designed for consumption. In Huxley novel most of the children playing exotics games for fun but he didn’t mention where they know about it ? Kids from our society have a lot of different source like internet where they can easily download things without adult permission, from different magazines, even form their environment but most of them form TV. However infancy will have some good points. In my view children will have everything they could need and even more. Just in case. For instance a prime quality food, which is a problem nowadays. Therefore child won’t know words like “hunger”, “disease”, “death”, etc. The world should fallow Huxley novel why ? Maybe politics if they will make a conflict they could take “soma” not making a war, and everything could be all right without involving people’s death. In Brave New World the children where produced form the embryos in our days mother doesn’t need a male partner to get pregnant she can go and visit the special organization and be false fertilize.

How similar is Brave New World's Society to Our Own ? The novel, Huxley portrays a so-called "utopian" society. When examining the surface, their society does seem truly perfect. It is problem free and everyone is happy. In addition the population is also controlled from their social status to their intellectual ability. However, after further examination of this "perfect" world, it seems strangely similar to our own society, which is not in any way near being perfect. The society in Brave New World and our society today share many similarities and differences. For instance, there are similarities and differences between the aspects of drug use, consumerism, and relationships.

Each day our world looks more and more like Huxley's Brave New World. Cloning is a wonder of modern science nowadays. How long before people realize that we cannot play God?
