Discuss whether medicine advertising should be allowed.

These days, the mass media are one of the main source of the information. Many brands are advertising their products on the Internet, in TV or in Radio. You can surely admit that it is the best way to show people something new. It is also the easiest way to get known about new things.

Firstly, by watching for example television, you can find out a better, cheaper medicament, than you are currently buying. It is known, that medicines are really expensive and normal people don?t have much money to buy it all the time. So there is no better way to get to know it, than by TV.

Secondly, you can realize that there actually is a medicine that you are looking for, because you thought that your disease is a normal thing and you do not need any vitamins. But you turn on TV and you see that it is a serious problem that not happens to everyone and you should take some healers to get better.

Of course there are some bad consequences of advertising medicine. The first one is that aggressive advertising make us buy and take medicines we would normally never buy. Specialists say, that taking too much vitamin A or E increase the risk of death. They don?t inform you about it in the advertisement and you still think that it is beneficial for you.

The next argument which does not stand by advertising medicines is that people buy more and more medicines to get better instead of going outside for a walk. Fresh air can often do more to our health than doctor?s stuff. What is more, people are getting used to medicines. They take painkillers whenever they feel pain, even if it is not as strong as they think it is. It is not healthy because it damages our liver.

Although advertising is a good way of transferring information, I think that it is unnecessary. People should not take too much medicine because it may not help but destroy our health. More and more medicines are tent to be harmful, so we should be careful whenever we are buying some pills.
