The first thought that comes to my mind while considering that statement is that it is obviously true, but is it really so unquestionably certain?

As far as I am concerned helping the less prosperous disinterestedly is truly worth praising and following. Open – handed people seem to be taking a lot of effort to help those who are unable to do enough for their living due to their disability or life misfortune and those who suffer from financial hardship benefit from that aid.

Nonetheless it’s not a rarity to observe that such actions are performed for personal aims of wealthy people. Quite a few of them support the underprivileged part of the society for the sole reason of showing off or dodging paying taxes. Such hypocritical rich men should not be patterned on. Many charity foundations are used for (apart from helping the poor) promoting politicians and mighty businessmen. It is a bit immoral to my mind to use charity for increasing popularity and multiplying incomes as a result. Moreover I have always been the enthusiast of giving the unemployed opportunities to earn money for their necessities. I don’t suppose there are many people who do not possess any skills that could grant them at least a humble conditions for surviving if they stood a chance to work for them.

Taking all of those arguments into account I would still opt for making it possible for the poor to do for their living rather than pitying on them and supporting only once.
