I have seen your first Ghostly Tales of the Unexpected, and found it really interesting and sad,(The Woolpack Coggeshall).
I have had one ghostly experience (by sound only)I was about 15 at the time I in bed around 10.00pm and I heard clear footsteps with the sound of crunching dead leaves under foot, this did seem strange and scary to me as it was May/June at the time and the path was clear of any leaves as I had to check it out next morning, this is the same house as my parents live in now,my mum saw (who we thought it maybe)* 2 Years ago a lady in a long dress with a rose patterns, she had glided past the kitchen window and stood at the kitchen door my Mun openend the door and she dissapeared,my Mum and Dad are calling her Rosy!a lady* used to live in a clay low house within the grounds which has been our garden for the past 40 years.Dad was spoken to by a man called Mr Farthing and when they were boys they used to put a sack over her chiminey,so it would smoke her out,not a nice thing to do,also my Dad feels she may have been taken away from her home against her will in old age,so the land became available for sale,to us!
