T: ”To do nothing is also a good remedy”.

The situation began in May 2007. I passed for an exemplary student. At the beginning of the month everything was all right. But then… I just want to block it out. When school year was drawing to a close, teachers picked on me. Each of them found a reason why it’s impossible to give me five. For instance, Biology teacher announced that my attendance isn’t sufficient. It was nonsense!
Telling it to my parents, I banked on their sympathy. To my amazement, respond was completely different. My father exclaimed nervously that I can lose sight of holidays in Turkey, which they had promised me. Having said that I will contrive without them, I went towards my room. I was depressed and I wanted the holidays to finish.
After a little while I hit on a brilliant idea. I had already been in the age of consent. I set out to find a job for a month and then to go away. Next week, I was working as a salesperson in a local supermarket. It was very exhausting. I was becoming more and more crestfallen. Counting money at the shop, I wanted to cry.
At the beginning of August, I had enough money to go away to Turkey. I added money that I got on my eighteenth birthday and in total I possessed three hundreds zlotys.
Next week I went away to Turkey with my friend. My parents were completely stunned by my grit and they even carted us away to a place from which our bus was leaving.
The ten days in Turkey was the best period of my life. This laziness was necessary for me. I had much time to bear in mind what I must change in my attitude to school. Grades aren’t important, no matter if my parents think so. I got rid of the feeling of dejection. As Hippocrates said, “to do nothing is also a good remedy”. My parents had apologized me. In a nutshell: my life became better.
