Have you ever been in Barcelona? if not, it is the definetely time to go.
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonya ( a part of Spain) is located on the Mediterreanean Sea in the north east of spanish cost. With population of 1,5 million it is the second largest city in country. It's typical mediterreanean city because of its location, history, tradiotion and culture. It's very cosmopolitan place, dynamic and exciting. Barcelona promotes itself as a european metropolis. What is particulary interesting there are two official languages spoken there - Spanish and Catalan. People who likes sightseeing woul find lot of beautiful places there. Although The city is full of Romanesque, Ghotic and Renaissance monuments the most interesting and characteristic are buildings, that have been built during the last 100 years especially works of excentric and famous architect Antonio Gaudi. The city's most known landmark is Sagrada Familia cathedral. The local point of town is boulevard called La Ramblas. It is 1,25 km long and it is huge shopping centre.. There is always vast number of people - local inhabitants and tourist. The atmosphere there is great. If you are a lover of culture you can visit museums, where you can see magnificent works of Picasso for example, or go to theatres. If you like sport you can catch a match of FC Barcelona (the best football team in Europe now) at Nou Camp Stadium. Stadium is really amazing - the biggest in Europe, and second in the world. There is also a museum of club. If you like party animal in the city there is vide variety of restaurants, night clubs, bars and huge about 4 km long beach.
I think that it is great place for everyone because people are very friendly there, atmosphere is great and you have lots of things to do. And the weather of course is always very good.
