Wealth does not bring happiness – true or false

In present times this question is very popular. But answers are very different and depend on our ideas of happiness. For some pepole live with family, friends is the most important, money are on secend place. But for some pepole makeing a money is they all live, and they sometimes forget about feelings, then part of this pepole are rich, but unhappy, some part are very happy – and they don’t need have for example a family.

In european culture since a centuryes wealth wos sometning undesirable. We can see it in literature, in greek myth, in Bible. In the Midlle Ages art, represent us that live have to be dedicated for God and being poor – the same live God the father before (ascety).
In polish literature for instance Henryk Sienkiewicz’s Potop the wish of money, of wealth got very bad results, in the end pepole for profits betray homeland. But rich pepole in european culture not always wos bad, the example is mr Wokulski from Bolesław Prus’s Lalka. He wos very rich, and he used his wealth to help people in need’s.

Now, in capitalism world, theoretically everybody can be rich, but person who want it, usually have to get verry good education, working hard to be promoted to high position. Different way to be rich is create own company, but it need a lot of time too, and is risky. But on this ways to be rich I don’t see place for family, friends, feelings. This is a price what this persons have to pay to be successfull.

For some people live without family, relationship but with wealth is sufficient, they are happy. For another person it can be hard.

That’s why I think one answer for subject’s question don’t exist. It is rhetorical question. Every person’s answer is different and can be change. When somebody is young then can think – career and wealth is the most important, for older peoples it is family, love ect.
