Do you use the Internet? Do you find it useful?

We have 21st century now, however the internet was invented in 20th century. The global computer web was first used by the U.S. Department of Defence. In the late nineties the Internet became universal.
First of all, I want to say that I am a child of the 21st century and as far as I know more then about 50% of people all over the world at least once used the Internet. More then 10% of global population is using the global computer web at the moment. I am using the internet, while doing my homework.
The internet offers many services. A lot of companies have their own homepages, on which we can see their products. We can even buy goods and services by means of their website. Furthermore, the Internet enables us paying bills and checking how much money we have on our bank account.
As far as I am concerned, the global computer web gives young people, i.e. teenagers and students unlimited possibilities. For example, they can search for information, they can chat in almost every language.
On the other side of the coin, there are some negative aspects of using the Internet. People can download songs and films, which is not allowed by the low. What is more, they can download porno films with participation of teenagers. I think that another problem is haking, which is also prohibited. A haker breaks into state servers and downloads secret documents or places there a virus. He/She can also change documents. Hakers are even able to transfer money to their own bank account.
There is little doubt about the fact that people usually use the global computer web for their own development, i.e. for communicating with the others, seeking for information, for sending e-mails. Some people say that in couple of years e-mails will take place of letters.
All in all, everyone must get used to the fact that the Internet is part and pacel of the world in 21st century. I believe that life with the global computer web is more comfortable, though it has bad site as well. I believe that one cannot satisfy everybody, and so does the net.
