My favourite film is “The Pianist”. It came out in 2002 year. It is directed by a Polish director – Roman Polański. The leading role is played by Adrian Brody.
“The Pianist” is an action-packed, biography film. It is about Władysław Szpilman’s life. He was an excellent pianist, but he was a Jew. He lived in the time of the Second World War. All his family members were also Jews and they were burnt, because of it. Fortunately Władysław Szpilman was saved by his friend and next he had to work in a Work Camp. With the help if kind people, he ran away from it and got from them a little flat. But he still had to hide and he was persecuted by Germans. At the end of the film, when German Soldiers left Warsaw, Władysław Szpilman found more Jews and started building his new home.
