Civic involvement is the community participation in government which is the cornerstone of democracy. When people take the time to provide input to their government about the issues affecting the community, it not only strengthens the relationship between the public and its government, but often enhances the outcome of the policy decisions or projects being decided upon it as well. Children today are our future therefore I believe we could benefit from young Americans getting involved in civic or social programs. Over the years, many City programs, services, and land use projects have been shaped by involvement from the community.

A city is an urban settlement with a particularly important status which differentiates it from a town. City is primarily used to designate an urban settlement with a large population. However, city may also indicate a special administrative, legal, or historical status. Cities today provide programs for the people who live in it so they can get involved. City programs like, transportation and the environment are huge issues we are facing daily. People have a hard time traveling in and out of the city but in order to think of new ideas to change that, the young people need to speak up. Also the environment is very important to people and in order to keep it clean and healthy to live in we need some new ideas on what to do to make that happen. The young people must state their problems in order for them to be attempted to get fixed.

There are many services in the world, but the most important is the public service. The public services are services carried out with the aim of providing a public good. Public services tend to be those considered so essential to modern life that for moral reasons their universal provision should be guaranteed, and they may be associated with the fundamental human rights. Education, electricity, health care, and the military are only a few examples of many public services. In order to get the people around the world use of these services we need the young people to offer themselves to help out.

A land use project is very complicated unless there are young people willing to help. In order to start a land project you need to be able to go back to what you learned in your younger years at school. Logic and Math are key when planning a land use project. Young minds are more open and their ideas are fresher and this could be very helpful to us. Land needs to be put into good use and young people today know what should and should not be taking our free land.

In conclusion, children today are our future and I believe we could benefit from young Americans getting involved in civic or social programs. City programs, services, and land use projects have been shaped by involvement from the community. We could really benefit from the young peoples opinions and help. We can make good use of free land, have more people helping out in the community, and more people serving people in need.
