Opis konferencji, której byłeś uczestnikiem - description of an event

Every year, in March lots of students from Poland gather in Warsaw, to take part in a conference. This year our class was chosen to represent our school during this four day meeting. The main topic of this conference was the environment; we had to solve a problem of pollution.

When we arrived (in high spirits) a big surprise for us was a place where we stayed; it was a four star hotel. Everybody was amazed.
Our class was prepared for this conference very well. While we were showing our opinions about protecting the environment, we could see smiles and favour on the faces of the most important guests. Without doubt we were the best group from the all taking part classes.
In the evenings we had discos, barbecues and (especially boys) could also swim and play tennis. During this camp we could meet really fascinating and interesting people. They were from all over Poland.
Finally, the aim of this event was fulfilled- we all have lots of innovative ideas about how to conserve the environment. The organizers were really cheerful, they said, ‘We must seriously start thinking about some helpful, new steps, in order to protect the environment. Now we have lots of ideas, thanks to you.’

All in all, this conference was a really exciting event, we were able to make extraordinary new friends, and socialize with our class. What’s more, we finally understood how big the danger which the environment suffers from is. While we were going home on our faces were sorrow and pity. We unfortunately left all our new friends and we had to say “goodbye” to this comfortable apartment. After coming back to school we got a message from the director: ‘You can start preparing yourselves for the conference next year.’ -we were really joyful.
