“ET The Extra Terrestrial” is a fantastic science-fiction film. The film was directed by Steven Spielberg so the special effects are amazing. The film stars Henry Thomas, Robert MacNaughton, Drew Barrymore dealt with their roles very well. The film appeared for the first time in 1997.This is my favourite one.
I have seen it two times. It lasts an hour and fifty minutes.
The story is set in a small town in America. The main characters are: Elliott, a young boy; Mike and Gertie, his brother and sister; and, of course ET. ET is a lovable creature from outer space.
The action starts when the aliens leave Earth without their mate ET. Elliott finds ET and takes him to his house to hide . He takes care of him, together with his brother and sister. They also teach him things about life on Earth. ET loves his news friends but he misses his family and wants to return home. The children find a way to help him go home.
The film is full of hilarious scenes and the plot has many unexpected twists, and shocking effects. The cast is also excellent .
The movie is really worth seen. It teaches us a lot of about friendship and taking care of each other. Friendship is a great value. For it all the differences between people and even aliens disappear .
I definitely recommend seeing this picture, because it is very touching and amusing story. It is a highly entertaining film which is sure to be one of the biggest hits of 1997.
