I am writing in response to the latest news. I have recently heard that government is planning to bring a new educational reform into effect. It would make mathematics an obligatory subject on the maturity exam.
Personally, I think it is a preposterous idea. Very many smart and witty students, may not pass this test. And ignorance and laziness would not be the reasons... There are few types of people, studying maths comes very easy to some of them, while others prefer arts. I think it is obvious, and learning maths is absolutely unnecessary for those who want to educate on humanities.
My proposition is to leave it as it is and do not ?tamper? with education, we ? polish students ? are sick of incessant reforms and changes! That?s Enough!!!
