It is wrong to kill animals for their fur? (essay)

Most of people who wear fur today are doing it only to be fashionable. In my opinion killing animals for fur is cruel and it should not be happening in the civilized world in twenty first century.
First of all, killing animals for fur is unnecessary, because synthetic materials made by man are looking nowadays very similar to natural and we can made it very cheaply. Secondly, animals which are kept for fur have short and unhappy lives. They usually live in atrocious conditions are crowded in a small space. These animals never experience a freedom. Above all, some animals that are hunted for fur are endangered species.
Some people say that for is warmer and more attractive than man-made materials. I think that nowadays we have technologically advanced, high quality materials, that are even better that fur and can replace it. Next, others believe that wearing fur is natural and man has been wearing it for thousands of years. It is true, but at present, natural environment is more devastated than ever, abundance of species decreases, so we must take appropriate action prevent the extinction of endangered species.
In conclusion, killing animals for fur is unreasonable nowadays and seen by lot of people as cruel and horrible. This process contributes to the extinctions, for example tigers, stoats, minks, sables.
