Poland - officialy the Republic of Poland. The location is in central Europe over Baltic Sea. Poland borders with seven countries. There are: the Germany (on west), the Czech Republic and Slovakia (on south) as well as Ukraine, Belorussia and Lithuania (on east) and Russia (on north). Poland is a member of the European Union from first may 2004. On south of the country there are highlands where you can see mountains - Tatry. The longest rivers are: Wisła, Odra and Warta. Currently the capital is Warsaw.

Poland consists of provinces. Every region has traditional kulture. When people think of Poland, they think that everybody speak Polish. But this isn't true. Basic dialects of Polish language for example Silesian, Kasubian, Lesser Poland (consists of wits dialect Cracow and of the Tatra Highlands ect.)
