A Sticky Business

The Stillwater is a small village on the seaside. There are a few wooden houses and the church in the center. It can be a typical village on North California, but on the top of the church tower is a very old and valuable clock. There can be seen a big star with golden angeles on it. If you ask someone from this village, what is there interesting in his town, he will anserw you, that he is proud of the great, valuable clock. In the summer trips often go to Stillwater to look at this famous place, and if some turist ask: ?What is the time?? people from Stillwater think, he is either rude or silly. Evryone, who lives in this village a few times a day looks on this clock, but one day...

Tom looked at the clock, when he went to his work - it was a quarter to eight. When he was coming back home he looked at the clock - it was still a quarter to eight. He looked again and again, but it didn't disapear. Maybe someone another would lose his temper if he looked at it, but Tom knew, what he should do. He ran to the church and found the vicar. When Tom met him, he told him, what had happened. The vicar was very embarrassed, that he climbed up into the lock tower. Vicar was a really brave man. Tom was very careful, so he told that he would help the vicary. He grabbed a ladder and they went to the light room in the highest (the only one) tower. There is only three meters from that place to the clock. The vicar started climbing, and he saw something terrifying there were many bees. The vicar had forgotten about the ladder and when he wanted to grabb it he shouted. He had the largest bee in his hand, when he can though - it must be the queen. He fell down, but Tom grabbed him and they went back he stairs. They heard an angry hum behind them. They closed the door and Tom went to the shop. When he come back he had a special bottle with ?Rayd?. On the top of the stairs there sounded an angry hum, but the vicar was a very brave man. He went to the door and threw ?Rayd? into the hall clue. On the other side of the door it was quite. Tom slowly opened it. Dangerous animals was dying. The vicar was a very brave man, but he didn't want to go on the ladder again, so Tom gave it him. There was full of honey and wax on the clock. It was a really sticky business. They cleaned it for two hours. It was a hard work, but at the end the clock was working again. A village was the same. You shouldn't think it is real. You can go to the Stillwater and look the clock. It is working for this day. You can meet Tom and vicar and talk with them. But never try to hum behind them.
