The hotels in Marseille are more expensive than those many other French cities, but they are clean and safe. Avenue Du Prado is a little over a mile from the Notre Dame De La Garde and approximately 20 miles from Marignane Airport. This location is also one mile from the beach and Le Velodrome (soccer stadium), a little over a mile from Vieux Port (old harbor) and Iles du Frioul, and six miles from Les Goudes. Hotel amenities include the fitness room, business center, Le Mytilus Restaurant, and Le Club Bar. The hotel also offers room service and parking (fee). All rooms feature satellite TV, in-room movies, minibars, coffeemakers, hairdryers, high-speed Internet access, individual climate controls, irons and ironing boards, safes, voicemail, and work desks. New Vieux Port Hotel lift goes only up to the 4th floor, guest with rooms on the 5th or 6th floor will have to carry their luggage up those floors. ( 0605/SS). The building is traditional, tall and full of character. All rooms have been entirely refurbished, reflecting African or Asian themes. They vary in size from medium to large. Rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition. The breakfast room is located on the first floor. It is a bright room with large windows, decorated in a harmonious colour scheme. The lobby is small and simply decorated. The hotel is situated opposite the old port ,and close to all the main shopping areas.
