Many people all the time are complaining that they haven’t enough time. They wish the day was longer. I think that instead of complaining they should do something and pull their socks up.
We loose time by having not prepared adequately our day before. It’s a very important rule of thumb. For example, when I wake up, first thing I do, is jotting down in my mind things I should do in that day. That helps me to save my time. But of course, not every time everything goes as was it was planned. Sometimes, when something or somebody throws a spanner in the works, I hit the roof, because I don’t know then, what to do next .
Never put something on the back burner. Bear in mind that you mustn’t turn a blind eye to your important meetings, housework or homework. What you have to do now, do it, don’t postpone anything! Otherwise in one time you will be in the rush of events. To much of everything!
Choose the most important thing for you. For example: instead of learning for the Math test when you know that it’s not your good side, don’t watch a movie, you have waited a long tome for. It’s not the end of the world, this film will be shown once again. Otherwise you will be learning this math all night and in the morning you will know nothing, really, and what’s more – you will be too stressed and exhausted to write it.
It’s very useful to have the packing order. I mean, not only jotting down everything, but also having cleaned the room before. When somebody is studying on the desk, where is heap of books, notebooks and God knows what more – he will be absent-minded. Don’t let anything interrupt you! You will be successed if you switch off the mobile-phone or radio.
If we find difficulty in learning and we are at the end of our tether, it’s high time we relaxed. Otherwise we burn the candle at both ends. It’s advisable to go for a walk or just to have a nap. Our mind after “brake” is fit to work. By this way, you will save your time. You will learn more than if you haven’t taken a rest.
Ask you friends if they could inform you about visits to you before – don’t rock the boat, toe the line. If you planned to do something, don’t let anything or anyone interrupts you.
Unfortunately, we can’t get rid of time-eaters. But we should keep our head above all the time by planning adequately our precious time.
