Respect Muslims in the European Countries

I am writing in favour of Muslims living in the European Union countries to draw Commission’s and citizens’ attention to the wave of Islamophobia recently sweeping Europe.
First of all, it is a common knowledge that ethnic and national minorities do not receive enough protection and privileges compared to the whole societies. Living in a foreign country by nature means adapting to new cultural customs, laws and people but one cannot feel increasingly stigmatised because of theirs beliefs as Muslims do. The best examples are coming from France which wants to be maintained as a non-religious state. Consequently, the introduction of ban on wearing hijab- head covering by female students at schools has violated their religious and cultural feelings. When a Catholic lives in f ex. Germany, nobody forces him to eat sausages and drink beer during Lent. Therefore, how can the government decide for woman who value privacy and modesty above all? Islam is simultaneously a religion, a community, a law and a civilization. It cannot be divided anyhow.
Secondly, what I strongly disapprove is the way Muslims are treated. They live in poor conditions reminding ghettos in the suburbs, without opportunities of getting a well-paid and satisfactory job, gaining the minimum of education and that is the reason why they do not feel like identifying with western culture. If the government guaranteed them worthy salaries, they would share their incomes by paying taxes. Being treated fairly as an ordinary citizen means bringing the same benefits to the common Budget. Well-educated young Muslims may also be a treasure to the France, no only a trouble.
On the other hand, I am aware that Islam in western countries does not enjoy a positive image by its associations with tragic terrorist attacks in London, Madrid etc. However we – the citizens of Europe- cannot be narrow-minded and think stereotypically to let apprehension and hostility towards Muslim minorities grow. We cannot perceive all Muslims as terrorists because murderers, thieves or criminals happen to be in every community.
Taking all the mentioned above arguments, I conclude that European Countries must face a challenge to carry on the integration of Muslims esp. Youth into European society to prevent both marginalisation and extremism. Why people still do not treat one another respectfully regardless of race, religious or nationality? The power of Europe underlies in its integration.
