Subject: How often do pupils play truant? – Survey

1 This survey was carried out to show how often pupils play truant. Twelve pupils were asked how often they do this weekly.


2 The majority of those surveyed play truant once a week. It is about seventy five per cent. This shows that a large number of pupils are fed up with school. About seventeen per cent play truant twice a week. A minority (about nine per cent) of them do not like truancy.


3 In conclusion, I would like to insist that teachers should show pupils, that learning needn’t be such a bad thing. This survey demonstrates that management ought to take action about playing truant.
