The book "The Goodfather", written by Mario Puzo, is a thriller based on the film "The Goodfather", directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
The book is show coulisse New York's mafia activiting composite with five families, witch The Goodfather is Don Vito Carleone. It is story about honor and hate, about respect and contempt, about love and death.
The main character is Don Carloene, he is the Goodfather, the head of an important family in the Mafia, which is a secret group of criminals. It is used here as a title of great respect.
Don Vito heve a four chidren : doughter Constanzia, sons Santino, Fredo and Michael.
Michael have a girlfriend Kay, he don't want be as like his father, He very loves Kay and want be a good men , no killer and criminal.
Sonny and Fredo want in the future be the head of the family.
In the book is so many death and revenge. But important thing is a family.
Can they protection family??
Will be a war between a Mafias??
Whether Michael bacome a really Corlone??
Who will death??
Who will live??

In my mind the "The Goodfather" is rally good book.I read it once breath. You can relocate to New York in the past, watching life loving father of family and father of Mafia, who love and kill. I'm recommending everyone.
