Dear Sirs,


I am writing to protest against communication problems and big traffic jams in our town. Gliwice is beautiful town but those negative things are bad for its look.
Firstly, a lot of main roads go through the centre. The traffic jams in Pszczyńska, Dworcowa, Zwycięstwa and Portowa Streets are really hard. In addition to that there is terrible noise everyday, which is tiring. People want to rest after work and go home quickly but they cannot because of the buses which are standing in the big traffic jams. People are also afraid of walking through the centre because it is a risk of accidents.
Moreover a lot of cars and lorries cause air pollution which will get worse and this will affect people,for example, astma sufferers.
The lorries also damaged historic old buildings. They are getting dirtier and being slowly destroyed.
In general, the traffic jam in Gliwice is very negative for inhabitants. People are absent-minded and frustrated. It is a vicious circle and government should do something, for example, build a new motorway. I think that it is necessary.
