MY ROOM

When you enter my room, the first thing you can see on the left of the door, in the center of the wall above the bed, is a huge poster of Barry White. Another thing you can find in the right corner of the desk, which stands in front of the door, is my computer, which has belonged to me for 6 years.

I also have many photos of my friends, which are behind the computer, opposite the bed, stuck to the wall. In the middle is a photo of Paul, who has two brothers, both of whom are married. It reminds me of their weddings, which I found very pleasant, and it was the first time I had so much fun.

Between the bed and the desk, there is a dresser, on which stands a bedside lamp and an alarm clock, which makes me want to rise in the morning because I'm not a morning person. The window is under the ceiling, in front of the door, and above the desk.

In my room, there are four walls, each in a different color: one is green, another is yellow, another is red, and the last one is blue. The walls in my flat are so thin that I can hear my neighbors' baby cry, and I hear every slam of the door in the middle of the night, which tends to wake me up. I think they should do something about these walls and noises.

MY DAY

When I open my eyes, I usually think: "Oh no! I must wake up!" Every single day, I wake up at 8:00 AM. Then I brush my teeth and wash my face. I have breakfast at 8:15 AM. I usually eat two thick slices of bread with marmalade and have a cup of tea. Then I get dressed very quickly and pack my rucksack. I leave home at 8:45 AM. I go to work by bus. I usually wait for a bus for about five minutes. It is always cramped.

I am at work at 9:30 AM. We open the shop at 10:00 AM, so I have free time to talk with my partners. I work until 10:00 PM or only until 3:00 PM, depending on the schedule. When I am hungry, I ask my manager if I can have my lunch break. I usually go and eat in some restaurant.

If I finish my work earlier, I meet with my girlfriend. We usually go to the cinema or theatre. If I must stay at work until the end, I get back home, eat some supper, watch TV. I have a shower at 11:30 PM. Then I go to bed, fall asleep, and my day is finished.

IN THE RESTAURANT

Waiter: Good Afternoon, here is the menu.
Me: Thank you.
Waiter: Are you ready to order?
Me: Yes. I'll have onion soup followed by smoked salmon with rice and salad.
Waiter: What about dessert?
Me: What do you recommend?
Waiter: We have delicious warm apple pie with vanilla ice-cream and whipped cream.
Me: I'll take it then.
Waiter: And what will you drink?
Me: Mineral water. Still.

Me: Could I have the bill, please?
Waiter: Yes, of course. Here you are. It's 50 pounds.
Me: Is service included?
Waiter: Yes, it is.
Me: Do you accept credit cards?
Waiter: Yes, we do.
Me: Here you are. Thank you.
Waiter: Thank you. I hope you have enjoyed your meal. Goodbye.
