Which outdoor activities do you find interesting and exciting? How do you relax and spend your free time?


After hard day of work people have to relax. Different people prefer different kind of activities to feel better. Sometimes, we are too exhausted to go outside, but if we are not, the best are active ways of spending the time ? practising some sports or just walk a lot. People who choose to spend their free time outdoor are much healthier than those who prefer laying at home in front of tv set and doing nothing.
There is a lot of options to choose from for sport-lovers: from cheap to very expensive, from really easy to hard, exhausting and sometimes even dangerous. This last kind of sports and outdoor activities is practised by small group of people, because only a few can afford to the risk and prices of them. And the most popular are activities which are cheap and easily available, e.g. walking, cycling, swimming or roller-blading.
I like different kind of activities, it depends on my mood. In summer, when I feel tired I choose a peaceful walk with my dog through the park. It helps me to relax and rest. I also like playing volleyball or tennis. Unfortunatelly it?s sometimes hard to find a free place on the courts and sport fields, because when the weather is nice, a lot of people choose these sports. My favourite kin of winter sports is skiing. I love the feeling of light wind on my face and the speed under my foot.
Some kins of sport are rather hard to reach in Poland. Enthuasiasts of golf or cricket are not in a good situation in our country and they must find something else to do.
A sport which can be practised by almost everyone of us is roller-blading. This sport can be really exciting and it?s rather easy to learn. When you?re practising this sport you have to use all parts of your muscles so it keeps you fit. The equipment is also not very expensive and this is the reason why today we can see more often people on roller-blades everywhere. But on the other hand this sport can be dangerous. I have bad experience connected with that. Once, when I was on roller-blades I lost my balance, felt down and broke down my hand. Since then I?ve never practised that sport again.
I?ve always dreamed about practising some dangerous and really exciting sports, such as bunji-jumping or parachuting. But unfortunatelly prices of neccesary equipment are exorbitant. Besides, you have to be good prepared for these sports ans the specialists courses are really expensive.
Jogging is an activity which is becoming more and more popular because of the fact that it?s one of the cheapest sports, available everywhere and for everyone. In my opinion this activity helps us to stay healthy. Jogging, like other kinds of morning exercises cause that through the whole day we will feel wonderful and relaxed.
It?s sad that nowodays people usually don?t have time to do anything beside working. We work from morning to evening ? firstly at work and then at home. We are exhausted, what results in the fact that we can?t easily solve our problems, interpersonal relationships are getting worse and worse. And I think that if we exercise a little bit more or do something else to relax, everyone will be happier. Stress will decrease and our society will be much healthier.
