Letter of complaint

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the prize I recently won in Your competition. After opening “The Language- learner’s pack” I found several problems.

The first problem was a poor picture quality of the travel video. When I turned on the video I was quite surprised and disappointed that it was in black and white and the picture wasn’t still but rather shaky and weird. I also found out that one of the audio cassettes is broken. Another problem is, that Your advertisement stated that textbook is included in the prize, but unfortunately there was no textbook enclosed. But the most visible problem about my prize was, that instead of English package I requested, the Russian one was sent to me.

Naturally, I tried to phone the major office a couple times, to report faults of “The Language- learner’s pack”, but there was no-one to answer my phone calls. Finally, when a office worker picked up the phone, she was rude and unfriendly, and said there is nothing she could do about my problem and that I shouldn’t waste her valuable time on such a stupid things.

I am not satisfied with the prize nor with the service I received. I look forward to hearing from you in your earliest convenience to offer me a complete refund. I hope I will not be forced to take further actions.
