You have decided to enter a short story competition. The story must begin or end with the words:
“Mary rushed down the stairs, landing happily. In her hand she was holding the letter for which she had been waiting for so long.”

Mary rushed down the stairs, landing happily. In her hand she was holding the letter for which she had been waiting for so long. It was the answer from the Company at which she had applied for a job. She had come across the advertisement in the local newspaper and had immediately sent them short letter about herself, CV and a photograph. The offered job was just what she has been looking for and she also suited to the position very well. She was a young, creative women who was interested in computers and very good at communicating with other people. She was also well-organized and had all necessary skills to work as a secretary. Since she would have an interview fallowing week, she was so happy that she was jumping up and dancing on the street. She even kissed one man, when he was passing the street, and happily went on.
A weak later, on Thursday she woke up early, got dressed, ate small breakfast and left home. She know that she looked good, attractive, moreover she had been preparing for the interview with her friends. At that moment Mary was a little self-confident and almost know that she got the job.
The interview was going very well, but she had a bad feeling. A man in his early thirties was secretly staring at her. Suddenly she realized that it was the same guy she had kissed on the street. She started feeling in panic. Her hands started shacking, the voice became a whisper. She felt awful, so embarrass in that moment. She wish it had ever happened. It wasn’t any sense to stayed there one minute longer so she stud up, and started to run away. Mary rushed down the stairs, landing not happily. In her hand she was still holding a letter for which she had been waiting long time. She had broken her leg and was taken to hospital. For a month she was on rehabilitation and then she met a wonderful man named Joseph. She become a nurse and now helping people getting better after crash. Now, after her experience, she always says “You can’t plan your life, there is too many unforeseeable (unpredictable) situations and that is the most beautiful skill of life.”
