I would like to thank you very much for your letter and for agreeing to talk about the Galapagos Islands in our Natural History Club.
You wanted to know the best dates for our meeting. It seems that five o’clock on Wednesday or Thursday would be very convenient for us.
Don’t be afraid about the lecture because most listeners will be children between 12 and 17 years old, who either don’t know anything or know very little. Surely, they will ask you such questions like what made you go, who helped you during the trip. Also, they will be interested who you went with and where your friends came from.
Well, I think we could meet at my parents’ house next Monday if you don’t mind.
It is great that you can bring slides and a video film, however there is one problem – at the moment our slide projector is broken down. I hope I will be able to solve this problem before your lecture.
