Well, this article desribes reasons and mechanisms of the development of English language in today's modern world. First of all, the author informs us that Ebglish is a language used by more that 400 milions native speakers on over the world, as well as by 4 bilions foreigners trying to study it every day. (me for example) The article explains what Globish process is. According to the author, becouse of the fact that English is something like a "mother language of the earth", it's naturally influanced by many grammar forms, stlistics and strange, new vocabulary created by people learning it and trying to communicate each other. What is important, the author gives us an example of conversation at the airport between Spanish peacekepper and Indian soldier described by journalists. Both used English but in some deformed form- without grammar and structure. But they could communicate- they were using "Globish"- a kind of linguistic tool, a version of basic or so called Easy English with a vocabulary of just 1,500 words. Author says that Globish is a common denominator needed to communicate with people from the whole world. The point is that it's a very simplified form, without the grammar and structure ,with the basic vocabulary ,but for people very understanable. The author of this article gives examples ehere the language known as a "Globish" is more effective to communicate than original English language. He also points to a new form of language something like a virus began to infect original English and- furthermore- people trying study it. Moreover ,this article gives us other examnples of influencing English as a naturally process of evolution - Cold War, technological development (phone, internet, mass media) or economic boom. It's widely believed that all this historical events had an serious impact on the development of language- it always happens. Thanks to technological revolution in 20th century words such as "Internet", "televison", "computer" were added to dictionaries. Nowdays process is more intensive becouse many people speak English. We have American English, British English, Australian English, and English spoken in New Zeland. Plus unavoidable. It was happening even in Norman conquest- the invasion and subsequent occupation of England by an army of Normans and French. At this time languages were mixed. The Globish was seen also as today. According to the author many attempts to communicate using broken English was received with some dismay and gave ludicrous effect, sometimes a lach of respect. Since the time when the English internationalization has begun to recognize the existence of other forms of this language. The article points the phenomenon of a new language consisting of easy assimilation, meaning, form and meaning, communication speed, universality, spontaneity and intvition. In my opinion original langauges shouldn't be influanced by many external factors, I hold the view that they should exist in their original pure form. We should focus on our style, grammar form and vocabulary as well as on syntax.
