Dożynki Harvest Festival celebration takes place in the last Sunday of August. Celebration which takes place in our local park. On that day the residents of the villages that belong to Dobra Commune go to church with harvest wreaths made from a mixture of corn, wheat, rye and flowers. They complete against each other in making the most beautiful wreath which symbolise the end of harvest season.
Later, people go to our local park to continue the celebration. They are dressed in traditional costumes you have chance to taste some local dishes and paricipate in many competitions. It is time for fun, singing and dancing, eating and drinking. People can watch performances of local bands, dance groups. At night disco party is organised which is very popular especially among young people.
