Last Monday I was with my friends in an Italian restaurant in New York.
La Casa is situated at 5th Avenue.
There is a lot of traditional furniture inside and on the walls there are wonderful Italian paintings. The restaurant is small but really cosy.
We ordered aubergine with prawns. For the main course my friends ordered spaghetti with vegetables and sardines and pizzas with ruccola . I ordered vegetarian lasagne with special chefs sauce.
The side dish was really delicious but we waited for it for about 30 minutes. Ruccola wasn’t fresh so we had to put it away. My lasagne was overcooked and I found a hair in it. I was disgusted.
I must also mention that the toilet in La Casa was extremely dirty. I had no courage to use it. Moreover, the floor there was wet and there was no mirror.
On the other hand the waiters were really friendly and patient. They apologised for all the inconveniences and brought us four pieces of apple pie for free.
In spite of little unmaskings we really liked his restaurant, because it had got special climat insnade, beautiful dining area, waiters were really friendly, and food was delicious. I think that is the best restaurant where I ever been in NYC
