In my presentation I'm going to talk about Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrit and plays as a captain of the Portuguese national team. He was born on February 1985 in Santo Antonio. He has got three siblings: one older brother and two older sisters. Ronaldo began his career at the age of eight. First he played for two years for amatour team "Andorinha" than he moved to local club "National". In 1997 he joined Sporting's other players who trained at the football academy. He scored two goals in his debut in 2002. Ronaldo's talent caught the attention of Manchester United manager when Sportings defeated Unitet 3:1. In 2005 Ronaldo scored ten goals in all competitions. He amassed a lot of personal awards for the season. He got: Player of the Year Award, Best Young Player Award and Andy Gray Award. In 2008 he scored goal for Manchester United and his team was on the top of the Premier League table. One year later Ronaldo had expressed an interest in moving to Real Madrit. On June 2009 Real Madrit confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo would join to the club after agreeing teerms and signing a concract. He scored his first goal for new team on July 2009. Real Madrit paid for Cristiano Ronaldo 80$ mln making him the most expensive player in football history.
