Advantages and disadvantages of e-books

The popularity of normal books is diminishing every year. E-books are more comfortable but they are not deprived of some disadvantages. In my opinion normal books won’t be substituted by e-books in the nearest future.
E-books are hard to read because eyes are getting tired very quickly. Special mobile device called “e-book reader” is very useful because it’s more convenient for eyes and has big memory inside. It is small and you can save several books on it. But you should know that it costs around 400$!
Of course, there are also advantages of this type of books. You don’t have to carry a full bag of heavy books with you. E-books are more useful during journey when you have limited number of things which you can have with you. Besides, e-books are more friendly to environment- if we used them instead of normal books, smaller number of trees would be cut.
Normal books are more comfortable to read when you want to read something at home. You don’t have to ruin your eyes sitting next to your computer. Reading is a pleasure only when you relax during it. If you really want to enjoy reading book, you should choose the printed one. It’s easier to remember where a specific statement is and to find it in a normal book. It is better to read it for, example, on the beach because it won’t be damaged by sand.
I prefer reading normal books and I do not dream about “e-book reader” but during the journey I like listening to audio books also in English because I can learn new words and correct pronunciation.
