Our school is in Hermanów - the small village in the east of Poland. The nearest city is Łuków. Hermanów is between Lublin and Warsaw and near river Bystrzyca. It’s flat ground here. Forests are around the village.There are fields and farmland between the houses. There are over 100 people and they are usually farmers. Everyone are kind and they like each other. Hermanów has got a own legend. According to legend, the name came from the surname of merchant Herman. Near the Hermanów is the village Wola Okrzejska - Henryk Sienkiewicz’s birthplace. He is famous writer. I hope our village is interesting for you.
