Vincent Van Gogh was Dutch great Impressionist painter. He was born in Groot-Zundert, near Breda, the eldest son of a Dutch Pastor. He was working as an art dealer, a teacher and a book-seller, before finally embarking on carrier as on artists. He devoted all his live to painting.

Later years he was on the brink of breakdown. His only true friend was his brother- Theo. He helped him in financial and assured him house.

From 1886 Van Gogh lived in Paris, where painted most important paint’s. In 1887 painted “Still Life with French Novels and a Rose”, in 1888 “The Sower”, “The night Caf in the Place Lamortine in Arles”, in 1889 “Mountain Landscape behind saint- Paul’s Hospital”, “Starry Night, “Vase with Fourteen Sunflowers”, so- called “Sunflowers”, “Vincent’s Bedroom in Arles” and Cafe in Arles”.

Nobody bought his pictures. As a result of his breakdown, he cut his ear and he killed himself. It was the end of his tragic life.
He last picture is “Ravens on wheat field”.
