Plot and structure
A plot is a sequence of events one leads to another. A conflict is the opposition between two groups of people, between individuals or lager forces such as natural objects, ideas, models of behaviour, public opinion etc. Conflict may be also infernal- involving choices facing a character.
Structure:
Exposition is a background info needed in order to understand the events.
Complication is the part of the text, in which the conflict of opposing forces is developed.
Crisis is a moment of high tension.
Climax is the moment of the greatest tension at which the outcome is to be decided.
Resolution means events that form the outcome of events.
Foreshadowing is an indication of the events to come.
Structure variation: so called flashback method- an episode or information are inserted to show events that happened before.
