My favourite band is The Beatles. They were the most popular band of the 60?s. The four members, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Star and George Harrison were all born In Liverpool, England. Their first record ?Love Me Do? came out on 5th October 1962. They have millions fans all over the world. In their career they played concerts in many places: in clubs, parades and for charity. Every song was unique. Their greatest hit was undoubtedly ? The Yellow Submarine?. This record could be heard in radio. It became the hit of the summer. Their songs was played in all parties and many ceremonies.
The Beatles gave their last performance on 30th January, 1969, on the top of The Apple building in London. In 1970, the band decided to split up. Ten years later John Lennon died. He was assassinated by his fan outside his home. The Beatles became legends. But their music will be with all of us forever .
