2 DIE IN CAR CRASH

At about 5 a.m., 17 miles south of Plymouth, on the interstate 23’ near the town on New Doodley, Utah, two cars crashed in circumstances yet to be investigated. One of the drivers died on the spot, the other was taken to Plymouth Hospital by helicopter and died after doctors fought for his life for almost two hours on the intensive care unit. Two other cars were involved in the accident, but thankfully no serious injuries occurred.

Drivers reported of heavy fog, in particular on the strip of the interstate near New Doodley, special radio warning announcements were given during the night; driving conditions were, and in some places still remain – very difficult. The police have not yet given any particulars on the accident, what we know for sure is: a blue Ford Explorer on Texas license plates was driving at approximately 70 miles per hour and was taking over many other cars while making it’s way on the interstate direction Plymouth. It appears that the Ford’s driver had simply not seen a yellow sedan (other details unknown) entering traffic from the New Doodley entry to the interstate. The sedan entering traffic accelerated and the Ford driver failed to react in time: he apparently tried to break and let the sedan pass, but it was too late. None of the cars was carrying passengers. The sedan’s driver had to be taken out of the wreck with the help of specialized metal-cutting equipment. The site of the accident was cleared in three hours, in the late morning traffic was proceeding in a normal, 50mp/h pace.
It remains to be decided, who of the drivers was responsible. The police are sure not only the fog is to be blamed.

The people of New Doodley are shocked with the accident, and blame the authorities for lack of control over speeding, irresponsible motorists.
