Nicolaus Copernicus
Tekst 1. Last week, we went to the Nicolaus
Copernicus House Museum in
Toruń witch my school. It was really
interesting. It's really two houses,
not one and there is lost to see.
Copernicus's father was rich and
he owned the houses in the15 th
century. The are really beautiful
old buildings in the centre of town.


Tekst 2.I learned a lot about Copernicus.
He was very clevery and he spoke
five languages, including Polish
and he studied lots of subjects.
Afer he finished school, he went
to university in Krakow and studied mathematics, geometry and astronomy. He then went to Italy and studied mathematics,law and medicine in Bologna, Ferrara and Padua. When he renurned to Poland he workend for his uncle.He was a Bishop and Copernicus was his doctor and secretary.

Tekst 3. Afer his uncle died in 1512, Copernicus moved to Frauenburd. He contidued working for the church but he also wrote about physics and studied the stars and space. He became famous because he made an impotand discovery
-the sun is the centre of the uniwerse not the earth.
