Career Goal

As I think of my future career I think of one specific scenario. I picture a woman walking into a room, she sits down. She has a melancholy facial expression. She looks up as she speaks to the person sitting across from her. She speaks of her troubles and this fascinating person helps her solve her issues. These two people are a patient and a psychologist. I imagine this situation and I realize that I would like to pursue a career in psychology.

There are many reasons why I would like to become a psychologist. I enjoy helping others by speaking to them about their troubles. My friends always come to me when they are struggling They say that I am good at giving advice, because I am a person who is motivated and who knows that small problems will not stop me from achieving my success. Being a psychologist would allow me to give back to the community. I would like to help those in need,
and those who are lost inside their mind. I chose this career because I am a trustworthy person, who will completely devote herself in her career. Being a strong character allows me to follow this dream because I can face reality, and approach it with a positive attitude. I know that I would devote my heart completely and give this career my fullest attention.

I need to work much to accomplish the goal of becoming a psychologist. After completing my high school education, I would like to attend a university. There I would like to study psychology and make my dream possible. It is not an easy goal but with hard work I think I can accomplish it, because I am a motivated person.
