Introduction
Robert Kubica was born in 1984 in Kraków. He is the first polish racing driver to compete in Formula One, the Queen of motor sports. Kubica started his professional career in 2000 as a test driver for Formula Renault 2000 car. During his first season in formula Renault, Kubica scored his maiden pole position. In 2006 he became the official driver for BMW Sauber. Kubica had a serious crash at the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix (he striked the wall at 300km/h speed). Fortunately, he wasn’t seriously injured and left the hospital next day. One year later on the same track he scored his first victory.

Indeed, the way leading to his success wasn’t so easy. If it weren’t for his father Artur Kubica (who support him from the very beginning) Robert wouldn’t be able to start his career. Artur has made his great contribution to Roberts talent development.
Talent
Robert Kubica is unbeaten on difficult track conditions: for example wet track – he must face the troubles with tires tracking on wet circuit surface because of aquaplaning.
He have to impart information to team engineers precisely suggesting how to improve the bolid settings on slippery surface or letting them know if there are any problems with bolid undetected by computers. Outstanding driving skills are one of the strongest side of Kubica. Nevertheless, poor bolid, wrong BMW Sauber team decisions during Grand Prix races caused low results in the general classification. BMW Sauber team retired in ending of 2009, and Kubica moved to Renault for 2010 season.
Activities outside sport
Kubica is also supporting charity organizations. Robert Kubica gave his helmet from TURKISH GRAND PRIX for malnourished children which price reached more than forty thousand polish zlotys.

According to the interviews with other Formula One racingers, Robert Kubica is a good one, he’s always very fair in the racetrack but they said he’s also very tough opponent. Fernando Alonso said that he rates Kubica and he calling Robert “best friend” and one of the best drivers.
