Hi Andrew,
I have recently decided to start studying in one of my hometown high schools. I chose this one because of the atmosphere, a few friends recommended me this place and I do not regret it at all. Apart from atmosphere I really like teachers, the one teaching PE is the funniest so far. He wears colorful socks, and seems to have so many pairs! I mean everyone has his own style, but I have never seen grown man wearing purple or pink socks. Such a positive person. This school in general appears to be full of interesting people. For example on the academy at the beggining of the year I've met a girl who is extremely into insects. She loves observing them, analizing their behaviour and stuff. Females in general are afraid and disgusted by them, but this one is different. I hope this describtion didn't scare you too much, haha. Looking forward to your reply, bye, xxx

I'm writing to tell you that I have just began learning in a new school. I have chosen this school because it's one of the best high schools in my city. They have a very high level of teaching. The teachers are skilled and professional. Lessons are practical and I have already learned so much. I especially like Mr. Nowak, He's a middle-aged English teacher. He's quite tall and slim. He wears glasses and a tweed jacket. He may seem to be a bit old-fashioned but his classes are so interesting. We talk a lot and use English, mostly for practical purposes.
Also, I have met some new friends. One on them, Marek, has some unusual hobby. He has a metal detector and often sets off at the weekend to the beach or a forest looking for some treasures. That's really cool!
