Dear Editor!
I am writing to Express about my opinion of the views presented in the article about film adaptations, which appeard in last issue of your magazine. I must say that I was quite upset because of the content of the article, The author seems to be too critical about it. He does not take into consideration the fact that the pictures and music can make the story more memorable. Besides, special effects make it possible to recreate the plot of the book very accurately. The author rightly notices that many students prefer watching a film than reading a novel now. However, teachers can easily deal with this problem, by asking their students if they liked film or the book more. I believe that the author has started a very interesting discussion. I would be interested to learn what other readers think.
