10 -year old driver kills two policemen
In the early hours of Monday morning two policemen were killed in an accident caused by a 10-year-old driver from Shellsby.
Thomas B. and Arnold S., two policemen killed on Monday, were patrolling the area of the motorway. Suddenly they noticed a van bombing along at 80 miles per hour, while the speed limit allowed only 50. As the driver did not react to their requests, they made an obstackle. 10-yaer-old driver kept racing. When he was about 50 meters before the obstackle, he swerved. Unfortunatelly his van hit in the police car which crushed the two officers standing nearby. The rescue team, which arrived 6 minutes later, could not help the victims. The boy, who was allright, was takem to the police station and soon let off.
Chief Inspector said: 'We are all shocked about this accident. I believe that one day this 10-year-old 'road-killer' would comprehend what he had done, an that he was let off only because of his age.'
