The house which makes the history of my family

My family house was built before First War, in 1905. First my ancestor lived there and since 1915 my grandfather has lived there. He loved this building because it has always been clean and beautiful. When the War started my grandfather had to escape and he worked and lived in a factory. After four years, he could come back to his family house which wasn’t in good form. In 1925 the house was renovated and it was more interesting. At the first floor a salesman opened a shop and a chemist’s. My grandfather was very happy because his life was very good at that time. He had a radio, a TV set and fresh food. He has never complained. In 1935 my grandpa got married. He started a new life with his wife – my grandmother, but after four years the Second War started. They were thrown out on the second floor and he had to work in German Office. My family helped the Jewes, who got food and clothes. In the cellar, the Germans opened their office and Gestapo. They didn’t take care of the building. It was dirty and frightening but in 1940 everything changed. My grandparents came back and the house was again clean and beautiful. In 1949 my father was born and in the house lived 3 people. My father was a very happy child and all neighbours loved him. In 1978 he got married and still lived in this house. When I was born, the building was 80 years old. I liked that house because it was beautiful, warm and nice.
Today I live in another house, but my grandparents still live there.
