Causes of mugging & and how to reduce the number of crimes like this

Mugging is one of the most common crime in Poland. According to the recent research last year there were about 5000 committed crimes like this. What are the main reasons of mugging? And how society can cut back the amount of these crimes?
First of all, mugging is a simple way to achieve money. People have not got a job, they do not earn money. It is really hard for them to survive. They do not try to improve their existence so they mug. How society can get round this problem? To make suggestions, there would be built new places of work, where unemployed people would find a job.
Furthermore, teenagers sometimes have not got any authorities and nobody care of them. They look up to nobody because they do not know any values. One of the idea how to solve this problem is to show youth what is the most important in life and how to live worthily.
Last, mugging is one of the way to spend their leisure time. They beat up other and push for money or other goods to have fun. One of the possibility manner to resolve it is to create new places of entertainment for teenagers where they would surf the internet, play games or meet friends.
There are several ideas to solve the problem of mugging. But it depends of society if they would follow these concepts.
