Poland is situated in the center of Europe. The emblem of the country is an eagle with gold crown on his head. Colours of national flag are white and red. In Poland is a Baltic Sea in the North and some ranges of mountains in the South where the highest peak is called Rysy. Poland has some lakes too. For example on Mazury- in the East-North part of the country.
The capital of Poland is Warsaw- the biggest one city in the whole country. But in Poland there are a few beautiful big cities like Cracow, Gdańsk or Szczecin. You can found there many historical buildings and other relics of the past.
Many famous people are from Poland. For example writers ( Czesław Miłosz, Wisława Szymborska) , sportsmens (Adam Małysz, Andrzej Gołota) and scientis (Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Mikołaj Kopernik)They are knows in the whole world.
Polish people are very friendly but they are always in hurry so they eat lots of fast-foods. But if they have more time and they eats at home we can see on dinner lots of potatoes and meat like chicken or beef. Polish people are like it so much.
I think that Poland is worth visiting because there are lots of beautiful places and many things that Polish people can be proud of this.
