What influences of the people decision?

Today many different pieces of information from surroundings influence on the people decisions. We are addicted to the media. People live in a world of adverts. The Tv, the newspaper, the radio and the street-advertisements are everywhere. They have become an important part of our life, but they also have some disadvantages.
Advertising helps new and unknown companies. In this way they can sell products faster and easier become popular. Thanks to commercials we can find out about an attractive offer. For instance we can buy a house, clothes, shoes, cars and essential products like food or drinks. Moreover advertising helps some people find a good job. Commercial play off of people’s feelings, emotions and attitudes with numerous merchandising tactics to lure them into spending. For example, many stores use scents, bright colors; music and creative, colorful displays grouped together to encourage people to make purchases.
On the other hand advertisements have some drawbacks. Nice people tell us their products are the best and not buying them would be a sin. As a result we buying in a big supermarket where companies put products with lower prices on the level of customers eyes. They do it on purpose to sell more. It concerns especially people who buy on-sale products only .
How can we protect before results of advertisements? A good idea is to make a list all of our needs before we go shopping, then fallow it, don’t go to stores where we cannot find anything from our list.
