Personal Statement concerning application for a Computer Science course at Oxford University

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you because I would like to apply for the Computer Science course at Oxford University. In my opinion I would be suitable as a student at your institution and I would like to show you why.
Since a young age, I have always held an interest in computers and mathematics. It was something that came to me quite naturally. Even through my hobbies, which are playing the accordion, billiards, chess and even penspinning (yes, it is supposed to be spelt together), I have the opportunity to find logical patterns and use them in practice. I always try to do my best at what I am currently doing. For example I have won a golden trophy at the Illinois Music Association for best accordion solo at the cadet level. Furthermore, I have never had any difficulties in grasping the material that was taught to me through my years of education and I have really become interested in Computer Science during my vacation holidays between sixth and seventh grade.
When, during those holidays, I had completed the textbook that was to be used at school, I noticed an urge to learn more and more about the subject. Ever since then, I have been striving to gain a deeper knowledge of how the digital machines that fascinated me so much work, both on the hardware and software level. I live in a small town, thus I have never really had the possibility to use my knowledge actively in order to gain experience, but I have always taken the chance to utilize what I had learned, participating in different kinds of contests concerning mathematics and information technology, for example the Mathematical Kangaroo or a regional informatics competition. The lack of opportunities for anything larger, however, does not lessen my enthusiasm towards learning as much as possible, and where else would I have such a good chance to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge in the subject of Computer Science than here, at your university? I have chosen so, despite the distance, because of the tutorial system used at Oxford University which, among others, has caught my attention since I had read about it on your website. It would be a very different experience compared to the teaching system I am used to and which is used in Poland. Because I am more of an individual learner, this would help me to prepare better for further education and gain a deeper understanding of the subject which I want to learn. I think my listening and communication skills would prove sufficient, as I have once been chosen Class President in sixth class, giving me a chance to enhance them. In spite of it being a long time ago, these are skills which one never forgets. I also judge that my English-speaking capability is on a good level due to the fact that I have lived in the USA for about 9,5 years, including education at St. Hyacinth Elementary School.
I hope to have convinced you that I would be worthy of studying Computer Studies at Oxford University and I am looking forward to expand my knowledge and face the challenges awaiting during the study for a degree in this magnificent area of knowledge.
