“Who can this man be?” Sheila wondered as she looked at the stranger at the front door. Neither a smasher nor a fright, just an average boy from next door. Dressed to kill, he made a rather grotesque expression. It would have been strange if that was the first time, but Sheila exactly knew the continuation. Whenever she wanted to ask what was going on the boy ran away faster than he had appeared. It repeated once again.

“Not that bad... I think he’s cute. Poor boy freaks out at your sight” whispered Sheila’s sister, who has already enetered the room. “If I were you, I’d find him and talk face to face. Maybe he is your knight in shining armour? Who knows” she muttered, clearly making fun of her sister but Sheila didn’t notice that spiteful remark. “Actually, what can I lose? Probably not much” she considered and decided to take the bit in her own hands.

It was not easy but with a little help of devoted friends Sheila managed to get the boy’s address. The elaborate plan assumed planting a chit, which would contain the date and place of meeting, into his letter box. Hewever bright the idea seemed, it was unfortunately dashed to the ground in the moment George (because it was his name) looked out of the window.

He spotted someone fiddling with his mailbox. Surprised he rushed out of the house prepared to blow somebody up when he realised who it really was. That time George coudn’t have just escaped. It was the first time he was forced to overcome his shyness and have it out with Sheila. After having cleared all aspects of his awkward visits George suggested a date. “And it was the way you met daddy...” murmured Cynthia when Sheila finished her daughter’s “favourite bedtime story”.
