The Ants - fable

There was a small, weak, red ant - Opti. She lived with a big family. One day her sisters told her that she is so big that she can fight with the huge beetle - Freddie, and she will probably win. Opti knew that it is not true, but many ants told her that she is very strong, and she will be a hero. They repeated it so many times, that finally she said “Yes I’m ready to fight with the Freddie. He will not be the enemy of our house anymore”. The sisters, who did not like her, because she always was the favourite of the Ant’s Queen, were really happy. The battle was in the Ant’s home, on the day of Opti’s birthday. The brave ant died in the fight. Later the beetle - Freddie with his friends destroyed the whole Ant’s house and ate the Ant’s Queen, then they started to catch the other ants. At this time Opti’s soul was in heaven, and she saw the ruin of her house. She was very sad, when she was looking at Freddie, who was eating her sisters. Then she thought “Not everything that somebody tells you is true, and sometimes we should decide by ourselves”.
